Terms & Conditions

The rules that cover browsing this site, ordering our products, and commissioning custom work from Sagaverse Studios.

LAST UPDATED: OCTOBER 26, 2026

1. About these terms

Sagaverse Studios LLC ("Sagaverse", "we", "us", "our") operates sagaverse.co, games.sagaverse.co, and the Sagaverse Studios application. We publish and sell tabletop roleplaying adventures, virtual tabletop (VTT) adaptations, printed books and maps, 3D-printed miniatures, and custom production services.

By browsing this site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If you order on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

2. Your account

Some features — order history, digital downloads, saved portfolios — require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account.

Tell us right away at joe@sagaverse.co if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close an account that is used to abuse the site, to infringe other people's work, or to place fraudulent orders.

3. Orders and payment

An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when payment is successfully processed and we confirm the order. Prices are shown in US dollars.

Payments are handled by our payment provider on a secure checkout page, where your name, email, and — for physical orders — your shipping address are collected. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Invoices we issue for custom work can be paid through the payment link on the invoice. We may cancel an order and refund any amount already paid if a product is unavailable, if a price was listed in error, or if we cannot verify payment.

4. Digital products and licence

Digital products (PDF adventures, VTT adaptations, map packs, and similar files) are delivered through your account and/or a download link after payment clears. Download links are personal to you.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use and print digital products for your own table — including for games you run for other people, whether in person or online.

  • ✦You may not resell, redistribute, share, upload, or publicly post our digital files.
  • ✦You may not use our files to train generative AI models or to create products for sale.
  • ✦You may not remove or obscure copyright, artist, or credit information.
  • ✦VTT adaptations are provided for use with the platform named on the product page; you are responsible for owning the required platform licence.

5. Physical products

Printed books, canvas maps, and miniatures are produced and packed to order. Finished products can vary slightly from on-screen previews and 3D renders — paper texture, ink tone, resin colour, and small sculpting details can differ from one run to the next. Minor variation of that kind is normal and is not a defect.

Shipping charges, processing times, and delivery expectations are set out in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are set out in our Refund & Return Policy.

6. Custom work, quotes, and invoices

Custom services — book printing, VTT map conversion, miniature production, GM kit builds, and full publishing pipelines — begin with a written quote. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued unless the quote says otherwise, and costs can change if you change the specifications.

Custom work is billed by invoice. Unless your quote says otherwise, a deposit is required before production starts, and the balance is due before files are released or goods ship.

Custom specifications, print-ready files, and approvals are your responsibility to check. Once you approve a proof or file for production, it is produced as approved.

7. Live events

We host and support tabletop events, including MagmaCon. Some event registrations and tickets are sold through third-party event platforms — registrations sold there are also governed by that platform's terms and refund rules.

Event schedules, hosts, tables, and rooms can change. If we cancel an event or a session you paid us directly for, we will refund that amount.

8. Prices and availability

Prices, product offerings, and availability can change without notice. Promotional pricing, discount codes, and bundle terms apply only for the period and conditions stated with them. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.

9. Our content and intellectual property

All text, art, cartography, layout, logos, photography, and files on this site belong to Sagaverse Studios or to the artists and writers who created them, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Your purchase gives you the licence described above — it does not transfer ownership.

Portfolio images and previews of published or in-production work remain our property, and work we show publicly stays under our copyright even when it was commissioned for you. Ask us before using our images or previews in your own marketing.

10. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to scrape or overload our systems, to probe or bypass our security, or to submit content or files that are unlawful, malicious, or that you do not have the rights to. This applies to order forms, quote requests, uploads, and event applications.

11. Third-party services

We use third-party services for payments, email delivery, file storage, and event registration. Those services run under their own terms and privacy practices. Where a product page links to a third party, that platform's terms apply to your use of it.

12. Disclaimers

Everything on this site is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Game rules, statistics, and third-party system compatibility are provided in good faith and may be updated or corrected.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sagaverse Studios LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising out of your use of this site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service that claim relates to.

Nothing in these terms limits any consumer right you have under applicable law, including your right to a remedy for goods that are not as described, faulty, or not delivered.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If we cannot resolve a dispute between us directly, legal proceedings belong in the state or federal courts located in Florida — except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our products and services change. The version published here, with its date, is the one that applies from that date forward. Orders already placed keep the terms that were in effect when they were placed.
